This CD is the audio version of the famed Christmas in Norway DVD. The St. Olaf Choir, with 75 mixed voices, is the pioneer a cappella choir in the United States. For more than a century, the St. Olaf Choir has set a standard of choral excellence and remained at the forefront of choral artistry. In June of 2013 the St. Olaf Choir returned to Norway for a tour that celebrated the ensemble's first visit to the Scandinavian country in 1913. During the tour, conductor Anton Armstrong and the St. Olaf Choir once again joined forces with the Nidarosdomens Jentekor to film a new Christmas program that will be aired on public television in December 2013 to more than 300 PBS television stations nationwide.
